Subject: Fantastic show, fantastic recording

This line-up really does the Dead thing, but in a refreshingly different way. Just wow.

Subject: Chris Robinson, Neal Casal + Phil is sweet

This show is a real treat for any Dead fans. We have suffered with poor vocals from so many lineups (and yeah, Phil too) that we have been lulled into focusing on the guitar, bass or drums. In this line-up, you get excellent arrangements (Phil is a good concert master) with outstanding vocal performance from Chris Robinson. Check out their Interlock'n friday night show 9/12 show for more great interpretations.

Subject: Not a typical P&F show

If you're looking for a show with Dead songs but with very different phrasing and vibe, here you go. This one goes many places, always led by Phil's bass. The recording is quite nice as well, with a full range and just a tad of audience.
